BidRight^SM: Ensuring Best Price Bids for Your Custom Home

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a custom log home builder. One of the most important is price. To ensure our clients attain the best price in the construction of their home, we developed BidRight^SM, our competitive builder bidding process exclusive to PrecisionCraft’s clients. Using your fully engineered construction drawings created by Mountain Architects, your project manager will submit an official Request for Proposal to qualified builders identified early in the process. Recruiting qualified builders to compete for your business ensures your home is built at the best price.

The BidRight^SM Process:

• Mountain Architects will have already located the most qualified builders in your area to participate in the BidRight^SM process. If you have a builder you’re interested in using, we would be happy to include that builder in our competitive bidding process.
• Your Mountain Architects project manager will prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) which will include your construction drawings, engineering and structural specifications.
• The RFP bid packets will be sent to each of the prospective builders identified. 
• With bids in hand, your project manager will review the completeness of each builder’s bid evaluating pricing, quality, availability and estimated timeline for completion. Bid proposals will also be compared to Mountain Architects’ initial cost estimate and national averages for reasonableness of price.
• Once your project manager feels that he has negotiated the best price scenario with each builder, he will present each builder’s competitive bid information to you in a transparent fashion; giving you the information required to make the best decision in choosing a builder for your custom timber frame or log home.
