Green Building Log Homes?

"A log home is actually the most natural, organic and environmentally sustainable dwelling in the history of homebuilding," says Jim Young, PrecisionCraft President and Incoming President of the Log Homes Council (a division of the National Association of Homebuilders).

The GREEN LOG Home Awards™ were created in response to the growing demand for green building solutions. The mission of the awards is to locate and shine a spotlight on those companies and individuals who are enabling healthier homes.

Public voting for the 2009 GREEN LOG Home Awards is open from April 16th to May 7th. Both People’s Choice Winners and Green Log Award Winners will be announced and posted on the Green Log Awards site the week of May 11th.
