Custom Milled Log Home
“After researching several log home companies we decided to give the internet search another try and were very fortunate to find PrecisionCraft. From our initial contact with them via email to the completion of our home we could not have been more pleased.
This is our first home to build and we were supported during every step of the process by PrecisionCraft. We were amazed when they sent someone to Texas to evaluate our site in order to assist us in designing something that would fit our lifestyle and our peninsula without overwhelming it. With the help of our design team from Mountain Architects we came up with the perfect home for us that is nestled right in the trees and looks like it “belongs” here and functions beautifully for our family’s needs.
Log Home Great Room
We felt very confident with the PrecisionCraft team that was sent in to stack our logs. They were most professional and just a delight to have around. It was amazing to watch them work. We had them sign one of our big logs that went in to support our catwalk so that they will always be a part of our home.
I should mention that during hurricane Ike we had sustained winds of 106 mph for many hours. We had three trees snap and land on our house and three large pine trees uproot and land on our garage. The only repair we had to make was to one small section of shingles that had to be replaced. Everyone says they are coming here during the next hurricane!
Log Home Deck
Our builder said that he had never seen a more complete set of plans and any time he had a question or ran into a problem PrecisionCrafts’ team of experts were there to assist. They even helped me with our stain selection and some methods for finishing the interior of the logs. I don’t know what I would have done without them. The end result is that we have a home that is beautiful and is top quality.”
