Idea Book Wins NAHB Award for Excellence in Marketing
With the award for PrecisionCraft’s lead marketing tool, Idea Book, the custom log home company carries home a fourth award from the national competition.
MERIDIAN, Idaho (November 13, 2007) –"One company, four awards" proved the theme at the 2007 national Showcase event hosted by the Building Systems Council. After two custom log home design awards and an award for its "Log Home Solution Center" web site, PrecisionCraft Log Homes capped the day with recognition for its new Idea Book. PrecisionCraft showed the company’s breadth with awards in both design and marketing categories, demonstrating that PrecisionCraft is both creative and adept at carrying that creativity to the client.
"I have to give credit to our architectural staff at M.T.N Architects for the two design awards. They are an extremely creative and talented bunch," said Jim Young, President of PrecisionCraft. "Also, our marketing manager Jennifer Grimes and her staff deserve the credit and high praise for the web site award and the brochure award. They have taken our web site and literature to a new level – which is good for us and the industry."
Idea Book is a free brochure with DVD and "study guide" that helps potential clients envision what happens when they enlist the help of PrecisionCraft to build a home. The 20-page brochure consists of photographs of completed PrecisionCraft log homes, timber frame homes, and log and timber hybrids.
The DVD features Young helping explain the PrecisionCraft mission of a "one-stop shopping" concept of home selection, custom design, material purchase and installation – the comprehensive home solution focused on custom design, log & timber product selection, and log home construction services. The study guide speaks to the technical aspects of log and frame home-building.
The three-part Idea Book package is geared to helping the client understand that the terrain between simply wanting a home and occupying a completed home, is negotiable –with guidance. As clients move through Idea Book, they become inspired by what other homeowners have accomplished, and realize that they can, with PrecisionCraft’s leadership, go there, too. With each page turned, clients learn more about PrecisionCraft’s Total Log Home Solution and how skillfully this unique company guides clients through each step of the home building process, from the first rough sketches to the completion of a dream home.
