Instead of focusing on the log materials, we treat your custom home project as a whole, offering the services that you need to complete your house.

PrecisionCraft was established in 1990. Over two decades, PrecisionCraft grew to become the premier custom log and timber home manufacturer in North America.

PFB Corporation purchased PrecisionCraft in Febraury 2011 and formed the PFB Custom Homes Group, LLC with offices located in Meridian, Idaho; Blissfield, Michigan; Carson City, Nevada; and Calgary, Alberta. In March 2021, PFB Custom Homes Group was honored as Manufacturer of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Building Systems Councils (BSC).

The strong financial backing and full range of products that PFB provides affords PrecisionCraft the ability to create extraordinary homes for our clients that combine creative design, high quality wood structures, energy efficient insulation materials, and flexible construction solutions.

PFB Corp

PFB Corporation was established in 1968, manufactures and distributes a full range of expanded polystyrene products throughout Canada and in the United States. PFB Custom Homes Group includes PrecisionCraft Log & Timber Homes as well as Riverbend Timber Framing, Point Zero Homes, M.T.N Design, and TimberScape outdoor structures.

Memberships / Affiliations

As a member of the National Association of Home Builders, specifically the Building Systems Councils and the Log & Timber Homes Council, PrecisionCraft has access to the tools and information necessary to provide our clients with the best quality homes.

One of the benefits of being a member of the Log & Timber Homes Council is the log grading program. This program ensures that our shop craftsmen are certified to grade the wood materials that will be used in the structure of your home. Materials that do not pass, are rejected.

Our commitment to sustainability

Helping to build sustainable homes is our focus, and we at PrecisionCraft & M.T.N Design believe it is also important to act responsibly within our own environment. Here are some of the actions we've taken so far:

  • Sawdust from our mill is collected and sold to local dairies
  • We use LEAN manufacturing procedures to reduce waste & energy consumption
  • All scrap wood is collected and recycled
  • We added high-efficient LED and CF lighting to our remodeled showroom
  • We recycle paper, plastic, aluminum, magazines and cardboard
