BALA is widely regarded as the building industry’s premier residential design awards program, celebrating innovation and excellence in home and community design across North America. Each year, this competition highlights the extraordinary talent and creativity of industry professionals who redefine the standards of modern living.
This year, the competition received more than 600 entries, making the recognition even more special. A diverse panel of esteemed judges, consisting of architects, builders, designers, and developers, evaluated the submissions based on their creativity, functionality, and exceptional design.
The Woodland Residence stood out as a finalist for the BALA Gold Award after earning the top votes in its category. This custom home seamlessly combines stunning timber frame architecture with thoughtful design, creating an inviting and unique living space that reflects the homeowner’s vision while blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings.
